The Hell of Mountains
Anyhow, this is the very first place I saw a fully opened peacock in my life!
Never thought his tail is actually so fluffy LOL
I used to saw one when I was a kid, but apparently it was only half-the-way opened when compared with this.
At the end is the most beautiful colour in the world!
This hot spring has the best colour among the 8 hot springs in Beppu♡♡♡♡
Apart from the hot spring eggs, there's also hot spring pudding (and super tasty too!)
Each of the 8 hot spring spots have different attraction of their own,

This is the second best hot spring I went -
the non-stop bubbling mud bath.
With the beautiful landscape around.
かまど地獄
The smaller and blue-er version of the Hell of Sea
Finally welcomes you is the not-so-hot foot bath...
The Hell of Ghost

The Hell of Mountains
First you will be greeted by a tropical botanic garden
Then a little zoo with flamingos, monkeys and ittle horses.
(Though I dont have much idea how are these related with hot springs...)
Never thought his tail is actually so fluffy LOL
I used to saw one when I was a kid, but apparently it was only half-the-way opened when compared with this.
And then compared with a female one, hm...
Yeah, in Hell of Mountains, my focus has been so wrong on the plants and animals LOL
And at the end of the 'tour', you will see the Hot Spring with the forever - going smoke.
********
The Hell of the Sea
By the side of the entrance is a gigantic pond of lotus.
There are 3 days in August that kids are invited to get onto the lotus leaves and have a little 'boat trip'.
This is pretty amazing cause I have never seen such an activity before!
How much I wish I weight less than 20kg now LOL
This hot spring has the best colour among the 8 hot springs in Beppu♡♡♡♡
Despite the cloudy weather, the hot spring still reflects a romantic colour of tiffany blue, plus a little bit of translucent which makes the colour even more elegant.
I couldn't tell how beautiful this colour is, as the photo couldn't show the real colour which really moves me from the heart ♡♡♡

This hot spring is one of the two in Beppu that serves eggs boiled from the hot spring.
The eggs could be easily bought from the shop.
On the other hand, it is a real MUST for you guys to buy
the hot spring powder from the Hell of the Sea.
THIS IS THE BEST POWDER I HAVE EVER USED BEFORE!!
I bought 5 packs but I totally regret about it, as the smell and the colour of the powder is EXACTLY THE SAME as what you see there - so it is a simply moving in of the Hell of the Sea to your home.
And I have no comment on what this crazy dude is doing here LOL
There is a little mountain behind the Hell of the Sea,
with a pretty ariel view of the hot spring and a line of red tori gate.
Apart from the hot spring eggs, there's also hot spring pudding (and super tasty too!)
*******
And there we for the other hot springs...
and this one is a foot bath that is over-heated, so...
Mind your steps XD

The Hell of the Shaven Head (鬼石坊主地獄)

This is the second best hot spring I went -
the non-stop bubbling mud bath.
With the beautiful landscape around.

This seems to me a mixture of different hot springs, just like a catalogue...
Can't tell which is the major pool but anyway it's really fun.
There's red mud bath...
What impressed me most is the hot spring steamers for hands, stomach (drink) and face....LOL
And finally, seems to be the major pool of the hell of mudland
With the most enjoyable hot spring egg among the 8 hot springs.
Like seriously, it is a must to try the egg from this Hell. (and I ate 3!)
The colour of the egg simply tinted by the hot spring colour and it tastes far from an ordinary egg.
It is recommended to eat with salt or soy sauce.

The transparent green colour of the hot spring.
And the cutest part of this Hell is the crocodile LOL
*******
The Hell of White
As the name suggested...
The Hell of Blood
Since the smoke is too vigorous that I could hardly see the colour of the pool,
I hiked up the hill behind to see it.

The Hell of Tornado
The Hell of Tornado
It is just a few steps away from the Hell of Blood.
This geyser blew up every 30 minutes.
But compared with what I saw in Iceland or the Yellowstone,
this one is pretty small and a bit too artificial....

Geyser blew up when the accumulated hot steam exceeded the capacity of the underground dome,
then the steam and water will squeeze out through the fissure to the ground.
