Northern Snow《Winter》 { Haneda Airport - 羽田機場} ～Classy and innovative airport～

Haneda international airport located at the south-western part of Tokyo(東京国際空港/Tōkyō Kokusai Kūkō HND).

Opened in 1931, it mostly serves national and short international flights.

In terms of size, flight and visitor amount, Haneda is Japan's largest domestic airport. It was the top 3 busiest airport in the world in 2015.

The best thing about these gates is the free water fountain outside the toilet.

And 12 free chargers, but please be reminded to bring your own USB charger part.

Yes, the forever shuttle bus if you depart with this gate..

Haneda Airport

Actually, I don't have much experience arriving at Haneda Airport. It seems refurbished and renewed recently.

This multi-functional toilet is very inspirational to me. It's much larger than the sub-divided houses in Hong Kong, and it is even larger than the living room in some small houses.

There's a bed(?) and even washing basin for transexual needs. This is very considerate for different people's need.

Monorail

You can buy JR passes directly from the airport JR costumer service. Unfortunately, the shop won't be opened until 7am. Therefore, I bought an individual ticket to Tokyo station instead. 

 

It takes only 15mins to Hamamatsucho station, operating from 5am to 12am.

The legendary East Japan pass. But you guys won't see him again, as the pass has already divided into  North-eastern Japan  and Nagano Niigata area PASS

Suggested Time

From airport to Tokyo and have the pass bought, took me 2 hours in total. 

Queing up at the visitor centre at Tokyo station at 0730 still took me quite awhile with a queue of 15 people in front!! 

Transportation 

Haneda Airport > Monorail 15 mins > Tokyo Hamamatsucho station > JR Yamanote line (山手) 6mins > Tokyo station (shinkansen)
